Decr. 14, 1784, John Edwards to Mildred Edwards, his mother, relict of Uriah Edwards, decd., both of Spots. Co. In consideration of sd. Mildred's relinquishing her right in part of a tract of land, held by her for widowhood, under the will of her late husband, Uriah Edwards, decd., etc., also a negro man, the sd. John conveys to the sd. Mildred, all remainder of the sd. tract, devised by the will of the sd.. Edwards, decd., etc., including the plantation and houses, etc., etc. Witnesses, Edwd. Herndon, John Herndon, Wm. Herndon, Thomas Colson, Jos. Willoughby. March 2, 1785.
