Ebenezer Coffin marries Mary Mathewes daughter of Ben Mathewes Jr and Sarah Sams. They have 8 children from 1795- 1813 when Mary dies. Ebenezer then marries her 1st cousin Eliza daughter of George A and Mary Saltus Mathews and produces George Mathews Coffin 10 Jan 1816 Ebenezer dies 9 May 1817 buried beside 1st wife
