Zachary was an officer in Phililp's war, and received lands.
He was also a Cowhasset Partner. He was a Lieutenant in King Phillips War. Tythingman 1703/4. On March 2, 1696/7 he was granted 3 acres swamp land by Scituate Town agents (Town Records). Surveyor of Highways 1702/3 - 1716. Admitted to 1st Church Scituate July 7, 1727 as "Zechariah". On "Jury of Tralls" at Plymouth 1698/9, 1701/2, 1706, 1710/11. On Grand Jury 1711/12. Resided at Scituate, north of Symon's Hill. In 1694, his mark was "on Red mare two notches in the neare ear whitt on all fouer legs. His wife as admitted to the 1st Church May 7, 1721.
