*Alexander Merry "Alex" Webb b Mar 1831- d Feb 1918 was the son of Merry "Mel" Webb and Mary Davis. Mary signed permission for Alexander to marry in 1851. He is referred to in the census as Alexander W. He is buried at Roseburg Cemetery in Hart Co Ky. On a deed found in Grayson Co in 1918 he is referred to as Alexander Webb Jr.

Alexander "Alex" Merry Webb married 1) Jane Blair 28 Jan 1851, the dau of Isaac Blair. Alex married 2) Elizabeth Guess (daughter of Moses Guess and Elizabeth Hall) 9 March 1860. He married 3) Elizabeth Haycraft ca 1865. She may be the daughter of Mahala Carroll and Willis Campbell and adopted by John Neville Haycraft. He married 4) Mary ?Unknown after 1909.
