Formerly of Fishtown, on June 30, 1994, Melvin L. Furr of the Phila. Protestant Home, beloved husband of Alfretta E. (nee Hess), devoted father of Alfretta Armbruster, Cynthia A. Kennedy, and the late Melvin L. Jr., dear brother of Dorothy E. Ware and Oren Furr; also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service Tues. 11 A.M. Berachah Church, 400 E. Ashbourne Rd., Cheltenham, Pa. where friends may call after 10 A.M, Int. Rosedale Memorial Park.
