Death
Mr. Henry Lee Furr, 83, of 1187 Harrisburg Rd., Fort Mill, S.C., died Dec. 23, 1986, at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at Independent Bible Baptist Church, Pineville. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel, is in charge. Mr. Furr was a retired textile worker and a Cabarrus County native. He was a member of Independent Bible Baptist Church. Survivors are his sons, Henry Furr Jr., Gene Furr, both of Fort Mill; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Memorials can be made to Independent Bible Baptist Church, 17025 Lancaster Highway, Pine- ville, N.C. 28134. Visitation is 6 to 8 tonight at the church.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, December 25, 1986
