Mrs. Lula Yow Crisco, age 69, of Star, died Saturday night in the Montgomery County Hospital. Mrs. Crisco was the daughter of the late C. C. and Mrs. Martha Jones Yow. Surviving are three brothers, D. M. Yow of Stanfield, Jim and Will Yow of Concord, and one sister, Miss Alma Yow of Concord. Funeral services were held at Love’s Grove Methodist Church on Monday, July 13, at 5 p.m. and burial followed in the church cemetery. Rev. John Henry Connell and Rev. R. E. Sides, pastor of Love’s Grove, officiated.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, July 17, 1964
