Mrs. Margaret Bass McCarver, 67, of 8305 Knight Bridge Rd. died Dec. 30, 1988, at Mercy Hospital South. Funeral is 3 p.m. Sunday at McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel. Burial will be in Pineville City Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight. Mrs. McCarver, a Mecklenburg County native, was a homemaker. Survivors are her son, Ken Furr of Pineville; daughter, Mrs. Brenda Moore; brothers, Roy Bass of Concord, Oscar Howard, Richard Bass, both of Pineville, Alfred Bass; sisters, Mrs. Josephine Walters of Kissimmee, Fla., Mrs. Essie Coley of Pineville; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. The family will be at the home of her son, 10039 Sam Meeks Rd., Pineville.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, December 31, 1988
