Death
Services for Mrs. Helen Moore Furr, 54, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at East Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. Mrs. Furr, of 4837 Holbrook Drive, died today at Presbyterian Hospital. She was employed by Delmar Printing Co. Surviving are her husband, Oren W.; a daughter, Miss Melanie Furr of the home; four brothers, Olin W., Clyde P. and William E. Moore, all of Matthews and James E. Moore of Charlotte; four sisters, Mrs. Wilma Pressley of Matthews, Mrs. Eva Gordon of Waxhaw, Mrs. Blanche Faulk of Indian Trail and Mrs. Bobbie Therrell of Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at McEwen Funeral Home.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, May 13, 1981
