Death
Mrs. Ann Furr Thornburg, 34, of 109 Greenway Dr., Matthews, died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral is 3 p.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Monroe. Burial will in Lucy Helms Cemetery in Monroe. Mrs. Thornburg was a material analyst for Duke Power Co. Survivors are husband, Norris; son, Norris Thornburg Jr.; brother, Jeff Furr of Monroe; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Furr of Monroe; grandmother, Mrs. Annie Lisk of Concord; stepdaughter, Ms. Gean Leigh Thornburg of Gastonia.
