Wilhelm and Gustine (or Justine) Boleswig-Bawvick Heine
 
Wilhelm Friedrich Heine was born 3 Aug 1827 in Germany. He was known as William. The 1900 census says he immigrated to America in 1870 at about age 41. But the 1870 census has William and Gustine living in Rice Co, MN with 5 children, all born in MN. The oldest child is 9 years old. Wilhelm’s gravestone indicates he married Gustine in 1859. I found a Wilhelm Heine on the NY Passenger List in 1854. If this is him, he was 27 yrs 2 mo, departing from Buenos Ares, Argentina, for Indiana.  He was Prussian.  The 1895 MN Census indicates he immigrated in 1856-57. The 1910 census says 1854.
 
Gustine was also from Germany. She was born on 20 Aug 1834. I have not found her immigration record, yet. Presumably they were married in America. Gustine died 30 Sept 1872 in Rice County, MN. Her 6th child, August was born 6 Jul 1872 and died 11 Aug 1872. She died 1 ½ months later.
 
Gustine and William lived on a farm in Wheeling Twp of Rice Co, MN. William continued to live there until at an advanced age he moved to Faribault City.
 
After Gustine’s death, William had a housekeeper, Augusta Werniky or Wernike, who lived with his family for a long time and who he married in 1891. (His gravestone)
 
William died 15 Oct 1921 in Rice County. He was buried in St John’s Cemetery. Gustine and at least one child, William, Jr, were also buried in St John’s Cemetery.
 
Augusta died in Wells Twp, Rice Co, 6 May 1916 and was buried in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault City. She was born 29 Apr 1832. Her cemetery records say she was married 1896 (on her gravestone) to William. (Maple Lawn Cemetery section: A-C19).
 
William and Gustine had 6 children:  William F Jr, Henry, Minnie (Wilhelmena),Fredrick, Herman, and Augusta (died an infant).
