Death

Our wonderful Jon passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. We want to thank you for your many prayers. We especially want to thank Betty Renner and Father Russ for their continual spiritual comfort and faith support. Jon cherished you both!
The bishops have deemed funerals unessential. [Covid] Jon, being the perpetual teacher, has donated his body to Mayo so that medical students can continue learning. He requested there would be no funeral.
We are very blessed! Jon was a great son, husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather. We love him and miss him.

Tell mother that Jon will be cremated and places in the mausoleum in Rochester. It is much easier than doing St Cloud. If they accept my body...then I will do the same! After all, this is where he lived for over 50 years! It only makes sense.
