Robert Kinsman

18 Feb 1720-21 he is of Ipswich, yeoman and with his wife, Rebbeca, sells to his brother, Joseph Kinsman, Sr, of Ipswich, yeoman, his house and lands in Ipswich (Essex Deeds 40:17).
28 Oct 1721, he is of Norwich, CT, with wife Rebecca. (Essex Deeds 73:25).
He removed with his family to what was then called Norwich, CT, and settled in that of the town known as Newent Society in Lisbon. Mis Caulkins in her history of Norwich, says. "Robert Kinsman was admitted an inhabitant Dec 5, 1721. He was one of the selectmen in 1725 and 1728. He died June 7 1762 and his wife died Nov 11, 1775."
He left a will (in digital files).

Robert b. 3 May 1713 m. in Boston (But called of Norwich, CT) Bethiah Doggett, 27 Sept 1749. He d. 16 Dec 1788. He may have had a son Pelatiah who d. 2 Apr 1797, aged 47 years, and was buried in Copp's Hill burial ground. m. Boston, where a stone stands to his memory.

Rebecca b. Ipswich 29 Mar 1683, D ____, pub. 5 May 1705, to Robert, son of Robert and Mary (Boreman) Kinsman. His father came to Ipswich and received a grant of land in 1634; his mother was a dau of Thomas Boreman. Robert Jr moved to Norwich, CT in 1721, was selectman 1725-28. Died 7 June 1761.
