Dr Samuel b in Mar 1740 in Sudbury (3298), 3299). He died on 27 Apr 1789 in Lynnfield, MA (3300, 3301, 3302). Samuel was a twin of with James Bancroft and Amos Putnam. He accompanied Dr Amos Putnam, with whom he was studying, in French and Indian campaign as "waiter".

James b in Mar 1740 in Sudbury, Middlesex, MA (3303, 3304). He died in infancy (3305). James was a twin of Samuel.

John b 13 Jun 1746 in Sudbury (3310, 3311). He appeared on the census in 1790 in Chester, Windsor, VT (3312). 3-1-4. Appeared in 1800 (82) and 1810 (3313) and 1820 (3314) census in Chester. He died 9 Sep 1838 in Chester (3315). John was above the common stature and of a robust constitution, being hale and hearty at ninety. At various periods he lived in Ashburnham (1775-9), Lancaster and finally in Chester, Vermont.
His name occurs on the Lexington Alarm list as marching in Captain Deliverance Davis' company, Colonel Asa Whitcomb's regiment.

Nathan b 15 Jul 1749 in Sudbury (3316, 3317). He in 1790 (3318) and 1800 (3319) Census in Stow, Middlesex MA. And in 1820 Wendell, Franklin, MA (3320). He died 26 Jun 1833 in Lexington, Fayette, KY (3321). Died of cholera. He was buried in the garden of his estate on Hall St. in Lexington (3322). Nathan lived in Grafton, Stow, Ashburnham, and Wendall, MA and Lexington, KY. He joined his brother John at Ashburnham. While at Stow he kept an inn. In 1778, Nathan and wife were granted letters of dismissal from the church, on account of difference of opinion in regard to infant baptism.
There is a curious manuscript written by Nathan and now in the possession of his descendants in KY, from which the below account of his children was taken, touching on every variety of subject. One is a satire on "Calvin's Creed," very well taken, and showing the author to be a man of shrewd sense and somewhat of an Universalist in his belief.

Captain Daniel was born 27 Sep 1755 in Sudbury (3325, 3325). A family recorded in possession of Mr Abel Putnam of Sarasota has the birth date on 25 Oct 1755. He appeared on the census in 1790 in Ashburnham (3327) and in 1800 in Winchendon, Worcester, MA (3328) and in 1810 in Royalston, Worcester, MA (3329). He died 21 Oct 1819 in Windham (3330, 1611). He was buried North Windham Cemetery in Windlam, Windham, VT (1611). He was at Concird, 19 Apr 1775. Family record that was in possession of Mr Abel Putnam of Saratoga has his birth as 15 October. Daniel Putnam was at Concord, 19 Apr, 1775. He with his brothers John and Nathan, settled in Ashburnham about the opening of the revolution. During Sept 1776, he enlisted in Captain Manasseh Sawyer's company. Colonel Dike's regiment and served, the latter portion of the time as sergeant, until 21 Jan 1777. In 1770 he was chosen one of the Committee on Correspondence.
In July 1781, upon the reorganization of the militia he received a commission as second lieutenant of 7th company, 8th regiment, and on 2 May 1787, captain. In this year he was chosen on a committee to draft a petition for pardon for Captain Job Shattuck, then under sentence of death for participating in Shay's Rebellion. Captain Putnam was conspicuous in the business and military affairs of the town, but in 1798 he removed to Winchendon, and in 1810 to Windham, VT, stopping for a time at Royalton, VT.

Asa b 5 Sep 1758 in Sudbury (3331, 3332). He was in 1790 census (3333) and 1800 (3334) and 1810 (3335) and 1820 (3336) census in Stow, Middlesex, MA. He died 29 Mar 1837 in Stow (3337, 3338). He Served in Rev. Asa lived in Stow. He served in Rev, enlisting 3 May 1775 and was in various service in 1775 and 1777. There is an Asa Putnam, private on roll of Capt John Gleason's company, of framington, stationed for some time at Kingston, Rhode Island, 1777.
