John Adams was born on 1 May 1655 in Cambridge, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of John Adams and Anne Howe. John Adams married as his first wife Hannah Bent, daughter of John Bent and Hannah Stone, on 26 February 1680 in Sudbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.John Adams married as his second wife Elizabeth Barnes on 11 October 1692 in Marblehead, Province of Massachusetts Bay. John Adams died between 1733 and 1736 in Sudbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay.
From Temple’s History of Framingham:342 John Adams bought 5 Jun 1683 of Gookin & How 200 acres lying between John Bent on the East, the Rice and Pratt lands on the south, taking in Jacob’s meadow, and the west line following the brook to the river, and bounded on the north by the David Stone land. He built northeast of Dr. H. Cowles’, near the railroad crossing. He was known as one of the Sudbury “out-dwellers.”
