Biography

Elizabeth Walton. the daughter of William Walton and his wife Elizabeth Cooke, was baptized on 27 Oct 1629 at Seaton, Devonshire, England. [1] [2][3]
She probably came to New England with her parents by 1635.[4]
Elizabeth married twice.[3][5] First, she married Lot Conant, son of Roger Conant, by the early 1650s,[4] and, based on the birth of their oldest child, probably in 1649. Lot's Will was proved on 9 Sept 1674.[6][5] In his Will, Lot mentioned that he had 5 sons, including a son Nathaniel, as well as five daughters. Beverly, Massachusetts, records show that Lot had the following children (dates from Beverly records):[7]
Nathaniel, ("-iell" in record), b. 28 July 1650
John, b. 15 Dec 1652
Lott, b. 16 Feb 1657
Elizabeth, b. 13 May 1660
Mary, b. 14 July 1662
Martha, b. 15 Aug 1664
Sarah, twin, b. 19 Feb 1666
William, twin, b. 19 Feb 1666
Roger, b. 10 March 1669
Rebecca, b. Jan 1670
Second, she married Andrew Mansfield on 10 Jan 1681/2 at Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts. She was his third wife.[5][8][9] Andrew apparently died prior to 27 Nov 1683, when his estate was entered into probate. Although Andrew died testate, the file is missing documents, and there is no copy of his Will or Inventory (or any other document) in the probate file.[10]
I have been unable to find any record of her death. Various online, unsourced trees show that she was alive in 1683.Watt-266 17:04, 5 June 2018 (UTC) A merged profile showed her death on 29 Sept 1674 at Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts, but that is clearly an error, as she remarried in 1681/2.
