Caleb Baker

Caleb Baker was born in NC but raised in KY. While living in KY, Caleb and his wife built a boat with a cabin on it. They traveled the riverways to Little Rock, AR. Then went overland to Chillicothe, Missouri. From there they traveled to Boles, AR. All their children were born there. During the Civil Was two of Caleb's sons were sent to a training camp in Houston County, TX where they met the Pennington family and three of Caleb's brothers married into the family of Richard Pennington. Around 1866 after the war, Caleb and his wife moved to Collin County, TX
