p51 Born at Concord, 25 may 1658; married Charity________.
He resided in that part of Cambridge called "The Farms," and afterward the town of Lexington; was one of the subscribers to the first meeting-house in the parish. He owned land there before 1699, when he sold a tract to Samuel Stone. Was elected tithingman at a town meeting. He sold his homestead to Thomas Cutler, land and buildings, 6 acres, bounded with lands of Stephen Davis, THomas Mead, and the Concord line. He died May 31, 1727. Theestate was settled by the widow Charity, who rendered an inventory, July 25, 1727, the estate being appraised at L286: 19:0. Benjamin Whittemore, of Concord, was surety on her bond of administration. She afterward married Andrew MacClure, of Oxford.
