David R. Bardouché died peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Feb. 4, 2019. He was born in Austin, Minnesota on May 27, 1933 to Hulda and Durwood Bardouché. After graduation from Austin High School he joined the Air Force during the Korean War but served states side.
In 1954, he married the love of his life Ann Marie Christianson which he often said it was the best decision he ever made. He was a gifted salesman for Hormel and raised four kids wherever the company sent him! In 1990 he retired, and the next 10 years he and Ann traveled to every continent but Antarctica.
Dave was a true patriot and he flew the U.S. flag on the tallest pole he could install himself! He loved his family, friends, camping, sports , and music. He is survived by his beloved wife Ann Bardouché, Sons Greg Bardouché (Debbie), Jon Bardouché, & daughters Karen Johanson (Ron), Sarah Sherwood (Robert deceased). His parents preceded him in death along with his sister Anne Kirchner. Also parent in-laws Almer and Stella Christianson. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, and 4 great grandchildren on the way (2 girls and 2 boys) Including his sister Marilyn Troilo (Co). In-laws Hans and Phyllis Helle, Ramona & Mason Mace, Lynn and Charlene Christianson, and Kenny Lee all preceded him in death. Survivng in-laws include Alan Christianson (Lois), Sharon Fogal (Dave), Jean Lee, and Brian Christianson (Donna) and several nieces and nephews.
Dave loved his church so the family is asking that any memorials be made to Ascension Lutheran Church's Raise the Roof Foundation!
