Betsy said she met Aunt Winifred - very interesting life. She loved her younger brother. She was a librarian at Dumbarton. She married Manuel Pablo a Philippine and lived there when the Japanese controlled it. He was a physicist. They met at the University of Michigan. Manuel is buried in Catholic cemetery in Houston in late 50 or early 60's. She thought they lived in the Manila during WWII- They were captive - had 4 kids 2 boys and 2 girls. Girls could not go out or raped by Japs.
Dumbarton was where girl students went and Georgetown was for boys in Washington DC. Dumbarton is gone now and it is all Georgetown since the 70's. Jon was there in 1969 with her when he was 21. When Jon and Betsy went to Washington DC in 2001 Manuel's son took them on tour.
