Edith Condon
Edith E Condon, 84, formerly of 615 Eighth Ave S, died Saturday at Good Shepard Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Wednesday at St Mary's Cathedral. The Rev Tom Knoblach will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 pm Tuesday at Williams Funeral Home. St Anne's Christian Mothers will pray at 3:15 pm. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by Sauk Rapids American Legion Post 254 Auxiliary at 5:30, parish prayers at 6:30 and East Side VFW Post 4847 Auxiliary at 7.
Edith Condon was born Aug 13, 1903 in Dresden, ND, to Francis H.and Barbara (Reichert) Lahnen. She married John Condon June 28, 1921, in St Wendelin's Catholic Church, Luxemburg, and was a member of St Anne's Christian Mothers, East Side VFW Post 4847 Auxiliary and Sauk Rapids American Legion Post 254 Auxiliary.
Survivors included son and daughter, George, Waite PArk; Mrs. Clarence (Lucille) Wolney, Sauk Rapids; sisters and brother, Mrs. Frances Condon, Waite PArk; Mrs. Cecelia Condon, St Paul; Isadore, Luxemburg; Mrs. John (Martha) Bauer, Cold Spring; six grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband June 30, 1968; sister and brothers, Veronica Killian, Peter, Anthony, Leo, Arnold, Clement and Theodore.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons, Patrick, James and Chad Wolney, Daniel Condon and Curtis and Thomas Jendro.
