Charles E Muller Dead
Operation For Acute Appendicitis Fails to Save Him
Charles Edward Muller, brother-in-law of William H Matthai, former president of the Merchants and Manufacturers' Association, died yesterday afternoon at the Maryland General Hospital. He underwent an operation for acute appendicitis Thursday night, having been taken ill last Tuesday at his home, Lexington Road, near Park Heights Avenue.
For many years Mr Muller was a resident of Baltimore county and at one time was in the cloth business here. Later he was connected with the National Enameling and Stamping Company. He retired 10 years ago.
Mr Muller was 61 years old. He was leader of the choir of the Arlington Methodist Episcopal Church South and a trustee of the Arlington public school. His widow and two brothers, Louis and Warren Muller, survive.
