Joseph and wife Odeil lived in Montreal, Canada. They foined an oxen-driven covered wagon train with their family from Montreal to Minneapolis, MN. They fought Indians all the way. He purchased land from the Manitoba Railroad north of Clontarf where they homesteaded and farmed. He retired in Clontarf.
