L. Philip Muller
L.Philip Muller, 86, Wyomissing, died Oct. 13 in the White Plains (N.Y.) Hospital.
He was the husband of Elizabeth (Wallace) Muller.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Eugene and Helen (Chance) Muller.
Muller was employed as an administrator and chemist by the Polymer Corp., Northmont, until his retirement.
He also worked on a portion of the Manhattan Project during World War II.
Muller was involved in local singing groups and church choirs for more than 60 years and was active in the Savoy Company.
He was a past treasurer of the Berks Grand Opera Chorus.
Muller was a volunteer at the Reading Public Museum.
He was a member of the Bausman Memorial United Church of Christ, Wyomissing.
Mulleris also survived by two daughters, Dorothy Muller, Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and Elizabeth C. (Muller)Meek, Belmont, Mass.; and a son, Bob W., Nags Head, N.C.
Other survivors include three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. in the Bausman UCC. Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home Inc., Dobbs Ferry, is in charge of arrangements.
