Arthur William Moore, a retired teacher, 65, 1509 Garfield Court, died at the St Cloud Hospital Sept 25. He was born here on Sept 1 1909, to William and Eva Moore and has lived here most of his life.
He was a teacher for more than 30 years and retired in 1967.
He was a honorary member of the Knights of Columbus Council 961 and a member of the National Retired Teachers Association. He was graduated from St Cloud State College.
Mr Moore is survived by his mother, Mrs Eva Moore, St Joseph's Home and brothers and sisters, Thomas, Albert Lea; William, Eagle Lake; Mrs. Irene Oos, Los Angeles, Calif; and Mrs Henry (Helen) Eickenbrock, South Haven. He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be at St Mary's Cathedral at 10 am Friday with burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harold Oos, Ralph Hansen, Jack, Lorin and Richard Duret and Ronald Wright.
Friends may call at the Daniel Funeral Home from 3-9 pm today.
St Mary's Cathedral will say the parish prayers at the funeral home at 8pm tonight.
The Knights of Columbus Council 961 will say the prayers for the dead at 7:30 pm tonight. The family prefers memorials to St Joseph's Home.
