In his will dated: 28 Jun 1546 and probated: 28 Nov 1547, Thomas Goolde, of Bovingdon named as his parents: Richard and Joan, as well as his wife, Alice.
His mother's will did not mention him only seven of his children; but not his youngest and eighth child.
He requests in his will to have his body buried in the churche of Seynt Laurence of Bovington next to the sepulere of Richard Goode, my father.
He bequeaths a number of gifts to this church plus to the mother church of Lincoln.

First I bequeithe my soull to the mercie of allmyghtie god and to all the glorious company of heven and my bodie I will to be buriede in the chiirche of Seynt Laurence of Bovington next to the sepulcre of Richard Goolde my father
