Biography
John was born about 1618 in England. He was the son of John Miles, Sr. [1]
He became free man on 14 Mar 1639 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay.
He married Susannah Goodenow Radiat on February 10, 1679 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay. They had three children together.
Died 26 Aug 1693. Will dated Aug 1691. John Miles, blacksmith of Concord, Massachusetts Colony. Names children John, Samuel and Sarah (all three not yet of age), wife Susannah, daughter Mary Wigley & Edmund Wigley, John Roditt, daughter Susannah Roditt and daughter Mary Roditt.[2]

John Miles was born in England in 1618. Came to New England in 1635. Was made a freeman at Concord, MA March 14, 1639. In 1672 he was one of a committee of nine to give instructions to the Selectmen. In 1673 his lands were 458 acres, most of them at "Nine Acre Corner" in the south part of Concord. He had a few acres on the north side of Common Rd. John married his first wife Sarah in 1640. She died July 18, 1678. They had a daughter Mary born Feb 11, 1640. Died Nov 25, 1708. Mary's first husband was Edmund Wigley. They had no children. Her second husband was Joseph Lee. They had no children.
John married his second wife, Susanna Goodenow Rediat April 10, 1679. She was born Dec 21, 1647. Her father was Thomas Goodenow. She was the widow of John Rediat of Marlborough, MA.
John Miles and Susanna children:
-John 111, b. May 20, 1680 at Concord, Middlesex MA; m. Apr. 16, 1702 to Mary Prescot; d. Aug. 23, 1725,
-Samuel
-Sarah, May. 25, 1686 at Concord, Middlesex MA.
After John Miles died, Susanna married Lieut. John Wilson in 1698.

John was born about 1618 in England. He was the son of John Miles, Sr. [1]
He became free man on 14 Mar 1639 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay.
He married Susannah Goodenow Radiat on February 10, 1679 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay. They had three children together.
