Individual Details

Christopher Columbus Achor

(Nov 1860 - 29 Sep 1931)

His wife's death certificate (see image on Find A Grave memorial for her, linked to this one)(for which son Walter was the informant) lists his name as Christopher C. Achor rather than as Columbus C. Achor, which makes it seem likely that his full name was Christopher Columbus Achor, even though he was generally known as Columbus.

As of 1-31-2016, details of his own death certificate are available at FamilySearch.com, but no image is available. Because it lists his name as Columbus C. Achor, that is the form of his name used for this memorial. He died in Union Twp, Highland Co, OH (source: death certificate).

Although the death certificate shows his burial to be in Mount Olive Cemetery, neither his burial nor his wife's is listed in the McBrides' cemetery book (p. 492) (because he was born after 1850 and died after 1900). Are there tombstones?
