Individual Details
Robert Wright
(7 Mar 1762 - 24 Mar 1847)
Robert Wright served as an Ensign, VA state militia, Court Order Book 1773-1782, May Court 1778.
Also said to have served in the 6th & 14th Regt of the Virginia Continental Line. [I would wonder, given the common name, if this was the same Robert Wright.]
He is apparently also listed as one of the Revolutionary Soldiers having lived in Alabama.
A Robert Wright married in Huntsville, Madison Co, AL to Peggy Colbert, 22 Oct 1811. Keziah Bibb must have died earlier if this is the same Robert Wright. Old SAR Applications give Keziah a death date of 1804 and 1830 - quite a difference.
