WINSTON-SALEM - Charles Whitehead Woodson Jr., 70, of 3511 Wimberly Lane died Sunday at Forsyth Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Salisbury. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Salisbury.
A native of Salisbury, he was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a retired schoolteacher. He was a member of the North Carolina Education Association, a life member of the North Carolina Association of Educators and an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Edith Woodson; daughter, Mrs. Jane Brent Adams of Carrboro; sister, Mrs. Brent Elmore of Greensboro; one grandchild.
