FAYETTEVILLE — Mary S. Hays, 90, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, in Fayetteville. She was a teacher for Van Buren and Fort Smith elementary schools, attended First Presbyterian Church in Van Buren and was the widow of Donald Hays.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Hays of Fayetteville and Philip Hays of Van Buren; a sister, Betty Irvin of Tulsa; a brother, Joe Slaven of Fayetteville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gabriel, Jason and Ted Hays, Michael O'Bryan, Paul Summerhill and Paul Hays Jr.
