William H. Hays has been promoted to manager of Brown Engineering's Test Support Operation....
A native of Van Buren, Ark., Hays came to Brown in 1961 from Little Rock, Ark. where he was associated with Whittenberg, Deloney & Davidson, architect. He halso has hel structural engineering positions with Brown & Root Construction Co., Hounton, Tex., and Continental Oil Co., of Ponca city, Okla.
Hays was in the US Navy from 1948 to 1952, having served in the Korean conflict two years. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, he holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering.
The parents of two children, Hays and his wife, the former Peggy Stockburger of Van Buren, make their home in Huntsville at 905 Fagan Spring Drive, SE.

HAYS, William H. passed away Thursday, October 7th in Pasadena. He was Vice President of Anil Verma Associates, Inc. in Los Angeles and had been affiliated with AVA for over 13 years. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas (Civil Engineering). He will be dearly missed by all family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; his son, William Stevn; his daughter, Kristin Milholland, and three grandchildren: William Samuel, Kelsey Hays, and Mary McKenna.
...Mr. Hayes will be buried in his home state of Arkansas.
