Resident's Mother Dies in Hospital
Graveside services for Mrs. Rachel Cuzick, 77, mother of Mrs. Charley Comstock of Westville, was conducted August 21 at the Libery Hill cemetery, with the Rev. Glenn Dipboye officiating.
Mrs. Cuzick, who lived at Natural Dam, died August 18 in a hospital at Van Buren after a long illness.
Other survivors include a son, Floyd Cuzick, Tulsa; three other daughters, Mrs. Flora Oberfield of Goodman, Mo., Mrs. Grace Payman of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Miss Mildred Cuzick of the home; three brothers, Jim Rose of Mena, Ark., Marvin Rose of Allene, Ark., and Eddie Rose of Texarkana, Ark.; 23 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Comstock attended the funeral.

Millie Beatrice Comstock, 85, of Fayetteville, died March 27, 2001 at Fayetteville. She was born June 21, 1915, in Odell to Thomas Oscar and Rachel Rose Cuzick. She was a life resident of the area, a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Comstock.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Copeland and Josephine Copeland, both of Lincoln, and Velma Turley of Fayetteville; one daughter-in-law, Reba Hamilton of Westville, OK; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ganderville Cemetery near Summers. Arrangements are by Sisco Chapel of Springdale.
