19 Apr 1815. The Grand Jury in Breckinridge Co issued a presentment against Edward Pate for profanely Swearing two oaths and also for drunkenness. He paid fines and costs.
19 Apr 1816. Grand Jury issued two counts of drunkenness and one for swearing. Fines and costs.

From County Court Order Book 14, p.239-240, 9 Apr 1860. Heirs named in the final division of Edward Pate's land included "Elenor Hambleton and Edward Hambleton her husband". Within the legal boundaries of the land is the following, "corner of the tract laid off for E. Comstock's wife".

Another of their daughters - Jane Crawford Pate, b. 3 Jan 1801, married Charles Hambleton on 18 Jan 1818 in Breckinridge Co. Presumably Charles and Edward were brothers.
