Gaytano Lorino was b. Feb 1841, age 59, married for 29 years. Born in Italy. He came in 1883 and had been in America for 17 years. His naturalization status was AL [alien, not naturalized]. Farmer.
Anna was b. Jan 1840, age 60. She had had 4 children, 3 living. She came in 1889, had been in America for 11 years - as had all three sons. She was marked PA for pending application for naturalization.
Mike, b. Nov 1863, age 26. [actually it was 1873]
Pete, b. Apr 1866,age 24. [born 1876, not 1866]
Tony, b. Jun 1882, age 17 - all three working as oyster openers.

Many European females kept their maiden names. I might have found Anna on a ship's passenger list. The Letimbro which arrived in New Orleans from Palermo on 28 Oct 1889. There was an Anna D'Anna, age 53. Pietro 10, and Antonio, age 6. I didn't find anyone I thought could be Mike, under either surname.

Texas Death Certificate #2101. Gaitano was widowed. He was born 12 Feb 1841 and died 13 Dec 1922 at age 81 years 10 months, and 1 day. He died of stomach cancer. Born in Italy, his parents were listed as Mike Lorino and Grace Corano. Pete Lorino was the informant. He was buried Holy Cross Cemetery.
