Mr. and Mrs. James Wallace Reed of Van Buren will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house this Sunday, April 29, at their home at 704 North 27th Street. The open house, hosted by their sons and daughter-in-laws, will be held between 2 and 4 p.m. Mrs. Reed, the form Lena Comstock, and Mr. Reed were married April 27, 1923 in Uniontown, Ark. They are the parents of four boys, Harold of Tulsa, Okla., Jack and Don of Van Buren, and Jim of Natural Dam. A blanket invitation is extended to all friends and relatives of the couple.
Was a County Judge.
James died of cancer. Buried at Hall Cemetery, Natural Dam.
