Miss Elizabeth Myrick Simms and Mr. Robt. T. Holderness were quietly married at the residence of the bride's father, Capt. T. H. Simms, on the evening of May 16, Rev. J. W. Boggs, officiating.
....Mr. Holderness is one of Fordyce's most enterprising men, a priminent druggist and a worthy young man, deserving in every respect of the prize he has won in Miss Lizzie, one of the fairest roses in Hope's "rosebud garden of girls."

In 1920, Elizabeth Holderness was living just a few houses from her mother-in-law on East First Street of Fordyce. Both were widows. Robert T. was listed as living with her although he was also counted in his uncle Harry's household in Pine Bluff where he was obviously working.

In 1930, Elizabeth Holderness is found in Pulaski Co, AR, in Little Rock. Living with her is son A. Sidney. They were renting. Her age given as 55, his as 25. He was working as an insurance adjustor.
