Elbert Estis Hutcheson died at Memorial Hospital, Cheyenne, Laramie County, on 25 Jan 1948 of heart failure. He had lived in the community for 25 years. His residence was 2418 Snyder Ave., Cheyenne. He was born 3 Apr 1892, Stilwell, OK (more likely St. Paul, Madison Co, AR). He was a veteran of World War I and was divorced and retired. His father was Ellis Grant Hutcheson, b. Washington Co, AR; his mother was Cora Meldora Davis, b. Grandby, MO. Ralph Campbell of 108 E. 7th St., Cheyenne, was the informant. He was buried Beth El American Legion Cemetery on Jan 29th.
His sister, Myrtle C. Combs, made application for his military grave marker. He enlisted 21 Feb 1918 and was discharged 13 Jun 1919. He served as a Private, Co. D, 319th Engineers. Stone to be placed Beth El Cemetery, Cheyenne, WY. Her address was the same he had given in 1942 - 2418 Snyder Avenue.
