Charlene Joyce Arnold Reed House, age 89 of Sample, KY went home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Cedar Point, Utah on June 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Charles M. and Dorothy Arnold. Charlene was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, gardening, water aerobics, music and attending plays. She was active with her church youth in New Mexico. She was the 'Best Mom' and loved her children and their families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands D. Zane Reed and Richard House, daughter Karen Arnold, grandchildren Teresa Arnold and Jerel Reed, daughter-in-law Louella Reed, brothers George and Alger Arnold and half sister Jenny Arnold. Charlene is survived by 4 children: Donna (Dale) Eakin of New Mexico, Gary Reed and Darrel (Sondra) Reed of Arkansas and Shannon (John) Arnold of Sample, KY 3 stepchildren: David (Lesley) House of Louisiana, Lesa House and Joy (Tony) Murray of Arkansas 2 brothers: Al Arnold of Nevada and Gerald Arnold of Oregon 13 grandchildren: Zane, Melissa, Jacob, Justin, Ryan, Jessie, Dylan, Kimberly, Lori, John, Jason, Jeremy and Nathan 7 step-grandchildren: Logan, Corey, Matt, Bryan, Brandi, Kinder and Derek many great grandchildren Funeral services will be held at Sample United Methodist Church on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 12 PM with burial in the Sample Cemetery. Visitation will begin at the church on Friday at 10:30 AM. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Sample Cemetery.
