Kenneth McKillip was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 30th, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Ken was born in Hayes County Nebraska to the late Richard and Juanita (Hanson) McKillip. He graduated from the University of Nebraska and had a long career as a General Agent with the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. He embraced his retirement in Rio Verde, Arizona playing golf, singing in the church choir, and being actively involved in the community. For 15 years he battled Parkinson's Disease, but he never let it change his positive attitude. He brought joy, humor, and his love of sports to everyone he met.
He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia, and seven of his eight siblings. He is survived by his daughter Kelly McKillip Birge (Andrew) and Scott McKillip (Cynthia), his three granddaughters Claire McKillip, Colleen McKillip, and Sylvia Birge, his sister Mary Ellen McKillip Ourada, and 23 nieces and nephews.
