CLIFFORD -- Evelyn, born in Solomanville, Arizona, April 30, 1915, a resident of Coronado for 51 years, died January 1, 1993 in her Coronado home. Mrs. Clifford is known for her Coronado Quilt and her many volunteer efforts in the City of Coronado. She was active in the Eagles, Elks, and Arts Association, and taught quilting classes at Coronado High School. She is survived by her daughter Janell Clark, son Daniel H. Clifford and her sister Nona Thamsen; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Visitation Tuesday 12 to 9 p.m., services Wednesday 10 a.m., both at Greenwood Mortuary, followed by interment Greenwood Memorial Park.
