CAMBRIDGE - Services will be held in Clawson, Mich., later this week for james A. Burton, 42, formerly of Cambridge, who died Tuesday in a Detroit hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Cambridge, April 13, 1922, a son of James and Maude Ashley Burton. He attended the Moethost Church. He resided in Cambridge until eight years ago when he went to Clawson where he was superintendent at the Bett-Decker Plastics Co.
Surviving are his widow, the former Margaret Gill; two daughters Margaret and Karen of the home; three sons, Brodie of Laramie Wyo., James and Timmie of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Bishard of Columbus, and Mrs. Douglas Simmons of Montgomery, Ala.; and four brothers, Herschel and Brodie Burton of Akron, Otto and Carolos Burton of Cambridge.
