Mrs. Rhoda Wesley
Mrs. Rhoda Wesley, 84, died at a nursing home near New Castle, Ind., Sunday, March 12, where she had been for about six years. She suffered a broken hip which never healed.
She was the daughter of Soloman and Sarah Wall Ashley and was born at Bethelridge.
She was first married to Willie T. Wesley by whom she had all her children. She was married a second time to Reason Wesley, who died about seven years ago.
She was the mother of Delmer Wesley, Shirley, Ind.; Mrs. Gertrude Pleasant, New Castle, Ind.; Mrs. Thelma Back, Cincinnati; Mrs. Geneva St. Clair, Cammack, New York.
She was a sister of Ambrose Ashley, Dry Ridge; Mrs. Lettie Barber, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Dora Wesley, Chattanooga; Mrs. Montie Griffin, Pulaski County; Mrs. Millie Storms, Chattanooga; Mrs. Gladsy Carrier, Marion County; and Ezra Sdhley, Eubank.
Services were held at Science Hill on March 17.
