M. C. "Red" Critcher
M. C. "Red" Critcher, 72, of 115 Spring Road died Wednesday morning in his home.
He was a native of Granville Couty, attended the Granville County schools and moved to Durham as a young man. He was employed for 30 years at Durham Hosiery Mill and later worked in the vending department at Duke University. He was a security guard at K-Mart when he retired two years ago.
He was a member of Sherron Acres Free Will Baptist Church for more than 40 years and was a member of the Men's Bible Class.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 pm Friday in Sherron Acres Free Will Baptist church by the Rev. Fred Revenbark and the Rev. Roy Clifton. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
