AUTHOR'S WIDOW DIES; NATIVE OF GALLIPOLIS

Mrs. Lucy Virginia Long, 44 years old, widow of Ray Long, note editor, author, and publisher, died today in Greenwich Hospital following a long illness. She was a native of Gallipolis, Ohio. She is survived by a son, Ray Long, 18, who is attending Deerfield Academy; her father, George F. Govie, and a half sister, Jane Bovie both of Gallipolis. Services will be conducted Saturday at 11 o'clock in the Knapp funeral home here. Cremation will follow at Ferncliff.
