Roland E. Williams, 83, Kansas City in Clay County, died May 27, 1991 at North Kansas City Hospital. He was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Williams owned a laundry in North Kansas City in the 1950s. He was a bus driver for the North Kansas City School District until he retired in 1972. He was also a farmer. He was a member of the Barry Christian church. ...survivors include three sons, Barry F. Williams, Kansas City; Roland E. Williams, Jr., Prophetstown, Ill, and Douglas E. Williams, Quincy, Ill.; two daughters, Patricia W. Freeland of the home and Joyce E. Sipes, Bettendorf, Iowa, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchldren. Services will be at 2 pm Thursday at the church burial in Barry Cemetery.
