Anthony was born the son of Christian H and Maria Rounder Wiman/Wyman. He married Elizabth Craven 3 Oct 1856 in Missouri and had 9 children. The tract of land given to them by his father was discovered to have healing springs on it. Anthony and Reverand Flack marketed the area and it became the city of Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He is known as a Founding Father of the city.
