Mrs. Eli Poindexter
Webb City - Mrs. Daisy Hattie Poindexter, 58 years old, wife of Eli Poindexter, transferman, died at 3:45 Sunday morning, Nov. 17 at her home, 301 East Daughtrey Street, following a heart attack. Four of Mrs. Poindexter's sons are in the Navy.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dollie Wilson, at home; Mrs. Ruby Dearing of Webb City and Miss Lillian Poindexter, at home; five sons, Howard Poindexter stationed at the Panama Canal; George Poindexter and Hoover J. Poindexter, stationed in China; Newell Poindexter stationed at San Diego, Calif; and Jesse Poindexter of Oklahoma City; two brothers, T. A. scott of Greenfield, MO and Clarence Scott of Miller, MO; a sister, Mrs. Delphia Davenport of Sherman, TX and seven grandchildren.
