Arkansas Death Certificate #688. Joseph (some consider him to have been John Lee but this seems unlikely) Lee Malone died in Genoa, Garland Twp, Miller Co. on 8 Dec 1942 of Cancer of the colon. He was born 23 Jan 1864 in Hempstead Co, AR. He was a farmer. His father listed as John Malone; his mother as Mary Carter, both born in Mississippi. L. H. Malone of Texarkana was the informant. Buried Shiloh Cemetery, on Dec 9th.
NOTE: this birth year makes his father only 15 when he was born - doubtful!
