J. B. Longmire died 22 Jul 1942 in Morley, Campbell Co TN. His wife, Mrs. Janie Longmire shot him. He was born 11 Nov 1887, Campbell Co, TN and was a miner and cattle dealer; his residence, La Follette, Campbell Co. His father listed as James Wilson. His mother as Betty Longmire. They were apparently never married and James used the Longmire surname. Mrs. Mary Horne of LaFollette was the informant. Buried Housley Cemetery in LaFollette, on July 24th.
